Travel cots are available and come with a charge of £10. We also have very comfortable foam beds suitable for children. We make an extra charge of fifteen pounds for these to cover laundry and breakfast. A travel cot or extra bed will fit in all the bedrooms though not really feasible in rooms two and five. Room seven (which has its own separate entrance) has a separate twin-bedded annexe, room seven a and room six have sofa beds in the Sitting Room annexe.
The Talbot is often frequented by a mixture of locals, families, diners and those visiting overnight from out of town. It is really important to us that each of our guests has an enjoyable experience with full access to our facilities. As such, the pub rarely lends itself to group bookings. We will, of course, review this on a case by case basis so do feel free to get in touch.
We are a pub of dog lovers and have lots of local dogs that are often sat at the foot of the bar however, In the bedrooms we do not allow dogs. We would love to allow dogs in all the rooms but our housekeeping is very thorough and one small hair could be left causing complaints from guests without dogs. Dogs are allowed in all public areas downstairs and we provide water, bones and affection where desired.
